Do you offer different packages for weddings?

Yes, I offer several packages tailored to your needs, ranging from a few hours of coverage to a full day. Each package includes a pre-wedding meeting, support throughout the planning process, timeline review, coverage on the event day, post-production, and delivery via a professional web gallery with both low and high-resolution images. You can find more details here: https://en.blanchephotographe.com/wedding-photography-pricing

Do you offer different packages for events?

Whether it’s family celebration, corporate event, or a conference, I offer tailored packages to meet your needs. Here are more details for events: https://en.blanchephotographe.com/event-photography-pricing and for family: https://en.blanchephotographe.com/family-photography-pricing .

Is it possible to customize a package?

Absolutely. If none of the packages perfectly match your day, I can create a custom offer based on your timeline, priorities, and budget. I also personalize packages for business or corporate photo sessions.

How would you describe your approach?

My approach is sensitive, natural, and emotion-driven. I shoot in a documentary style, capturing key moments, knowing glances, laughter, tears, and the unique atmosphere of your day. My goal is to document your event authentically and elegantly, covering as many moments as possible without disrupting the flow of your celebration. I am always on the more, alert to details and fleeting moments that truly tell your story.

Do you speak multiple languages?

Yes, I speak fluent French and English. I also get by quite well in Spanish. I am used to working in multicultural contexts and adapt with respect, openness, and curiosity to every culture and tradition. Each wedding and event is unique. It is a joy to discover and honor the differences that make life so rich.

How many wedding photos will we receive?

The number of delivered photos depends on the selected package. You will receive between 300 and 750 carefully edited images, depending on the number of hours covered.

Can we view your portfolio?

Yes, of course. You can see a preview of my work at www.en.blanchephotographe.com . If you’d like to see full wedding or event galleries, I can also send you private links. This will give you a better sense of how I tell a story from start to finish with authenticity and attention to detail.

Can we meet before the wedding?

Yes, and I highly recommend it. I enjoy taking the time to talk with couples to understand their expectations, style, and vision. I am available for in-person meetings with a reasonable distance from Montreal or via virtual meetings as often as needed. These conversations help build trust, which is essential for natural, relaxed photos on your big day.

What gear do you use?

I shoot with two Canon R6 (I & II) bodies. I mostly use 24-70 mm and 70-200mm lenses, plus a 100mm macro lens. I also have Godox V1 and AD100Pro flashes. For studio sessions, I bring tripods, softboxes, backdrops, and Godox AD600BM and SK400 flashes. I also own a Godox LC500 for continuous lighting and a Canon A-1 for analog photography.

Do you scout the venue beforehand?

Yes, absolutely. If the wedding or event is in Quebec and I am not already familiar with the venue, I take the time to visit beforehand. This allows me to find the best angles, assess natural light sources, and plan key moments based on the environment. This step ensures maximum efficiency on the big day and helps me deliver outstanding images.

Can you stay longer at a wedding or event?

Yes. If the energy is still going strong and you’d like more coverage, extra hours can be added based on my availability. Let me know as soon as possible – even on the day itself if needed. Additional hours will be billed according to the contract rate.

Do you have a backup plan in case of emergency?

Absolutely. If I am ever unable to attend due to an emergency, I have a strong network of trusted photographers with similar styles. I’ll do everything I can to arrange a reliable replacement.

What if it rains or snows on the wedding day?

Weather can be unpredictable, especially in Quebec. I always plan a beautiful and realistic backup option with you. I have a transparent and elegant umbrella for outdoor photos, and I also scout covered or indoor locations nearby to ensure quality images no matter the weather.

What is a ‘first look’ and why choose it?

A ‘first look’ is a private, emotional moment where the couple sees each other before the ceremony. It offers a peaceful time to connect, release a bit of pressure, and capture beautiful portraits in a calm setting. It also helps save time after the ceremony for other activities. It often becomes one of the most touching memories of the day.

Do you retouch the photos?

All delivered photos are carefully edited. I adjust lighting, color, cropping, and the overall mood to reflect the emotions of the day. My editing style is natural and timeless. Most photos are in color, but I include some black-and-white and a few artistically blurred ones (which are currently trending).

What is the delivery time for wedding photos?

Photos are delivered within 4 to 6 weeks. I may deliver earlier, but never later than what’s stat4ed in the contract. You will aso receive a small preview (15-25 pictures) within 24-48 hours to enjoy right away.

What about delivery times for other types of sessions?

For couples’ sessions, proposals, or family events, photos are delivered within a week. For corporate events, I provide a few highlight shots the same evening for social media, and the full gallery within 48 hours.

How are photos delivered?

Photos are delivered in JPEG format, in both low-res (for web use) and high-res (for printing). I use Pixieset, a professional online gallery platform, allowing for easy viewing, sharing, and unlimited downloads. Galleries remain active for 6 to 12 months depending on the package. After that, they are deleted. You will receive a reminder before expirations, and you may request an extension for a small hosting fee.

Do you offer prints?

Yes. Prints can be ordered directly from the delivery gallery. Prices vary by size, quantity, and paper quality. You can also create a custom album through the gallery for an additional cost.

Do you work with a second photographer?

Yes, sometimes. A second photographer brings greater coverage. First, it allows for simultaneous coverage (e.g., both partners getting ready). Second, it offers multiple angles for dynamic images. Third, it ensures no moment goes unnoticed – spontaneous laughter, tears, and glances.

Do you do video as well?

No – photography and videography are two different crafts. I focus on still imagery but regularly collaborate with talented videographers whom I can recommend to ensure seamless photo + video coverage.

Do you travel?

Yes. I am based in Montreal, Quebec, but I travel throughout the province, other Canadian regions, and internationally with pleasure.

Do you offer proposal or engagement sessions?

Yes. A mini engagement session is often included in my wedding packages. It’s a great opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera. I also offer standalone couple sessions: https://en.blanchephotographe.com/family-photography-pricing

Do you issue a contract?

Yes. Whether it’s for a wedding, engagement session or corporate event, I always provide a signed contract outlining our mutual agreement.

What are the accepted payment methods?

I accept credit cards (please note a 3% processing fee that I need to absorb), bank transfers to blanchephotographe@gmail.com, checks, or cash.

When should we book our wedding photographer?

If your wedding is during peak season (May to October), book as soon as possible. Once the contract is signed and 1st payment paid, the date is reserved.

What are the conditions for the initial payment?

The first payment is part of the total fee. It secures our agreement and blocks the date. It is non-refundable as it covers time spent on preparation, meetings, and research.

Do you have insurance?

Yes. I hold professional liability insurance suitable for my work as a self-employed photographer. It allows me to work in public/private venues confidently and professionally.

Are meals required for vendors during events?

For bookings of 6 hours or more, a hot meal is required for service providers (photographers, videographers, etc.). Being well-fed keeps us focused and ready to capture key moments without stepping away during the reception.

What do you wear at weddings or events?

Out of respect for the event and guests, I always dress professionally and discreetly in black. This ensures I blend in and maintain decorum. If a dress code is required, I will adapt.

Do you accept tips?

Tips are not required, but always appreciated. My pricing reflects my work and time. A tip or kind review is a lovely gesture of thanks. I’d prefer you avoid credit card payments due to fees. If you’d like to leave a review, here is the link https://g.page/r/CcY1J-na7n8MEAE/review
